Foundational Truths

It is difficult to adequately express how critical a proper understanding of the early chapters of Genesis are to Christianity. In many ways, Genesis 1-11 is foundationally and critically important in developing sound Christian doctrine and a biblical worldview. What we believe as related to these early chapters ultimately impacts our confidence in Scripture as the final authority in all matters it addresses.

To help us better understand these early chapters of Genesis and important topics directly related, the CRA will be hosting a one-day seminar on Thursday, May 2, 2024, beginning at 9:00 am, entitled “Foundational Truths — the Historicity of Genesis and the Flood.” The seminar will be led by Ryan Cox a speaker, teacher, and researcher for the Creation Truth Foundation.

The seminar will seek to establish the historical narrative of Genesis 1-11, the catastrophic nature of the Flood, how racism is a direct result of an evolutionary worldview, and present evidence that there was only one Ice Age, which was a direct result of the global Flood.

Ryan is a graduate of St. Louis Christian College, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and the Sharp Institute for Biblical Worldview Studies, and has received certificates in Dinosaur Paleobiology, Theropod Paleontology, and Marine Reptile Paleontology from the University of Alberta. Ryan is also a lifetime member of the Christian Educators Association and an adjunct professor for Summit Theological Seminary.
